In order to become a candidate for membership in Beta Alpha Psi, you must meet these requirements:
Member in Good Standing
In order to provide the most beneficial Beta Alpha Psi experience to our members and pledges, the Zeta Iota chapter has set specific participation standards which meet the Superior award status of our National Offices.
Members are required to:

- Major in accounting, finance, or information systems.
- 3.0 GPA in your upper division accounting courses.
- 3.0 GPA overall or a 3.25 in your last 30 credits.
- Have completed or be currently enrolled in one upper-division class of your declared major.
- Pay a one-time initiation fee of $95 by the deadline.
- Have at least 2 semesters until graduation
Member in Good Standing

Members are required to:
- Pay the $40 membership dues by the deadline per semester.
- Participate in a minimum of BAP sponsored events per semester as follows:
- Attend 65% of professional events for the full duration of each event per semester.
- Attend 30% of community service events for the full duration of each event per semester (One of the community service events must be from proctoring. Exceptions to this rule will be rare and at the discretion of the Executive Board).
- Maintain the following GPA requirements:
- 3.0 GPA in your upper division accounting courses.
- 3.0 GPA overall or a 3.25 in your last 30 credits.
- Attend all monthly chapter meetings.
- Attend and vote at election meetings.
- Pay dues by the deadline. The one-time initiation fee shall be $95 for the first semester. Following semesters shall be $40 per semester.
- Participate in a minimum of BAP sponsored events per semester as follows:
